Wow! I forgot to post about the great New Years. We celebrated with Chinese (food, not friends), a chick flick, and sparkles. In bed by 10:30. Looks like friends and family took the sane way out this year. Those that we love have new reasons to celebrate safe and sane; so, I could assuage my fears and worries. Looks like the lampshades will have to wait another year to add adornment to another fools.
Hopefully this new year will mean that those who should be loved and cherished will be; and those that are not will understand why. (I hope we will know the difference with their limping!)

There is nothing so Quintessentially simple as watching a thirsty Dragonfly settled on flower petals that are beaded and bejeweled with drops of morning dew. The dragonfly's wings becalmed for a second to provide a needed rest, before dashing off to flit helter skelter through the air, and then disappearing as though everything was imagined. Isn't this the meaning of life? Throwing ourselves headfirst into the whirlwind of life, and then grabbing all too moments of precious rest and solitude?

Damn the Spiral Notebook, Full Blog Ahead
For the last couple of years, I have perused various blogs, and admired the freedom for creativity that the venue offers. It wasn't until my much admired petite jeune fille expanded her blog that I realized I wanted to be free of the scraps of paper that hold the varying opening sentences to my, "Great American Novel". With a little luck I will be able to post musings and colloquy that, indeed, can stop jumbling around my head.
